Another thread posted here was "Jerry Bio-pic (reprise)." After someone mentioned Dobie Gillis, beatnicks, and Bob Denver's character - Maynard, I came up with my Garcia's Island movie concept - instead of Gilligan's Island. Bob Denver will forever be best-known for starring as Gilligan. Do I sense the making of a fantasy movie about Jer?

Phil Lesh stars as
The Professor

Jer character is The Skipper, Robert Hunter is The Millionaire

I think Early Jerry looks more like Bob Denver as Maynard G Krebs.

How do you post pictures, anyway?

Stuff can be tricky, or EASY, when employing HTML in your Posts. There is NO PREVIEW function. Corrections get done by editing your posts, or deleting them and reposting the corrected "error-free" revision. This is a huge problem. Other sites also fall way short in this area.

a long time ago, I posted
Then it was heavily censored and redacted! lmao!!!

using html tags on this forum:

tag brackets = < is the opening bracket and, > is the closing bracket
center tag = center; /center
bold text tag = b; /b
italic text tag = i; /i
underline tag = u; /u
etc, etc...

Sometimes (usually), to get a pic's HTML tags to work on this forum (get the pic to appear on your post), you need to anchor a hyper-link to it, but not always. There's a few ways to cheat this, or work around it. I never do this, but I know of them. So, attaching a hyper-link (URL) to a pic always works (getting the pic to show up here).

I would like to get some sidework, and I would appreciate any quality referrals. I do web page designs and postings on Music Forums, Archive Forums, Craigs List, commercial web sites, and social networking sites... just to name a few. I also do consulting and tech-support for all this. I'm a live music taper, soundman, broadcast engineer, and hippie digital archivist.

I made my own movie about Fort Collins cops doing silly police-car patrols on Fort Collins bicycle paths. One cop almost made me wreck my bicycle...

Zach Efron - just because it'll piss off heads.

And he was really good in that Orson Welles' film.

yeah! pissing off heads - one of the many reasons I like Weir as well as Day Job.

Sorry we missed you man. We'll definitely try and get down there again ( this time without the kids proabably except the baby).

Do it - but we really need to get up there first. Was going to canvass for Joe Miller in your neck of the woods but got tied up in Kentucky with Rand Paul.

better than losing your post like I did.

Yeah you guys should get up here sometime. If not I know we'll be back down. We both love it there so much. Damn I wish it wasn't so expensive. Maybe we can afford to move there once a few of the kids move out. Of course with how this generation is you practically have to move to get them to move out anyway.

Nice choice, because he also has the intelligence. I still think that Philip Seymour Hoffman would own it, though. Either is better than the previously-attached Jack Black
